Dear friends,
As we begin this journey in daily devotions, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the beauty of new beginnings. For it is through new beginnings that we are given the opportunity to start afresh, to lay aside our past mistakes and embrace the future with hope and joy.
In Ecclesiastes 3:1, we are told, "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven." This verse reminds us that there is a time for all things, this includes a time for a fresh start. For with each new beginning comes a chance to grow, to learn, and to become the person we were created to be.
But it can be difficult to embrace new beginnings, especially when we are faced with fear and uncertainty. However, we can find comfort in the words of Joshua 1:9, "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." We are reminded by these words that we are never alone, and that the Lord is always with us, guiding us on our journey.
So, as we embark on this journey of daily devotions, let us embrace the beauty of new beginnings with courage and confidence. Let us trust in the Lord and His plan for our lives, and let us take each new day as an opportunity to grow closer to Him.
