Who Am I?
Hello! I’m Zach Baltzly. I currently serve as the Assistant & Youth Pastor at Lakeview Baptist Church in Dundee, OH. I am married to my wonderful wife, Aline, whom I married in 2022.
A few of my passions include singing, writing, programming, and an in-depth study of the Scriptures.

My Mission
In 2017, I founded ‘Nerd in the Word,’ an initiative dedicated to sharing insights from my formal Bible education and personal studies of the Scriptures.
My projects are varied, but they share a common goal: to foster a deeper understanding of the Bible and to inspire Christian living among believers across the globe.
In a world where spiritual complacency is all too common, my mission is to awaken dormant spirits, reinvigorate faith, and guide people back to Christ. This is accomplished through content that is both informative and engaging.
While often times my Nerd in the Word work may be behind the scenes, rest assured, there is always ongoing progress.
I’m not one claim I am extraordinary. Yes, I do possess Bible degrees, but I believe that this level education is accessible to anyone with the patience and determination to pursue it.
I hope that I can use my experience to help other grow others just as others have helped me grow in the past.
With the Lord’s help, I pray Nerd in the Word will be a tool for growth for both me and those who decide to follow my spiritual journey.
